Privacy Policy — Intentt

The short version: Intentt collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

1. Data we collect

None. Intentt does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or usage data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. It works fully offline.

2. Where your data lives

Your tasks, habits, notes, focus-session history, and settings are stored in a private database on your own device, accessible only to the app. They are never uploaded to us — we operate no servers and have no ability to see your data.

3. Backups

• Your own exports: you can export a backup file from Settings to a location you choose. That file is under your control.
• Android system backup: if you have Android's backup enabled, the system may include Intentt's data in your device backup (encrypted by Android, tied to your Google account, controlled entirely by your device settings). We never receive it.

4. Purchases

The optional one-time "Pro" upgrade is processed by Google Play Billing. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; Intentt never sees your payment details. Google's handling of that transaction is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. The only thing stored in the app is whether Pro is unlocked.

5. Permissions we use, and why

• Notifications — to show the task and habit reminders you schedule.
• Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) — so reminders fire at the exact time you set.
• Run at startup — to re-schedule your reminders after the phone reboots.
• Foreground service — to keep the focus timer running reliably while you work.
• Do Not Disturb access (optional) — only if you enable Focus Mode, to silence notifications during focus sessions and restore them afterwards.
• Vibration — for reminder and timer feedback.

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit data.

6. Data deletion

You are in full control: delete any item inside the app at any time, or uninstall the app to remove all of its data from your device. Since we hold nothing, there is nothing for us to delete on any server.

7. Children

Intentt is a general-audience productivity app and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to this policy

Intentt is actively developed, and this policy may change as the app gains new capabilities. If a change affects your privacy, this policy will be updated before that change ships and the "Last updated" date revised. Material changes will also be called out in the app's update notes.

If Intentt ever starts collecting data, we will tell you clearly and ask first. Today the app collects nothing. Should that change — for example, an optional feature that sends anonymised usage information to help us improve how the app understands your input — then:

• it will be opt-in, off by default, and never bundled into an unrelated setting;
• we will explain what is collected, why, and how long it is kept, in plain language;
• you will be able to turn it off and have the collected data deleted at any time;
• this policy and the Google Play Data safety listing will be updated to match, before the feature is released.

Continuing to use the app after a policy update does not by itself grant consent to any new collection — where your permission is required, we will ask for it separately and specifically.
